Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies investigated an unregistered vehicle being
driven eastbound on Riverside
Dr. The vehicle was driven by Lyn Johnson, Editor of the Palo Verde Valley
Times newspaper. Ms. Johnson's Arizona Driver's License was valid in the name
of Pamela Joy Johnson. While
conducting a normal warrant search on the operator, a Felony Warrant was
located from the State of Texas charging Ms. Johnson with Interference with
Child Custody 25.03(a)(1) Felony 3. Ms.
Johnson was formally known as Catherine A. Harwood Walker and Pamela Lyn
Johnson. Confirmation was
obtained from Upshur County Sheriff's Office, Gilmer, Texas; the
warrant was still active and extraditable. The warrant was issued in November 1990.
Ms. Johnson is in Sheriff's custody awaiting extradition proceedings.
