My name is Doug Harwood. I am the father of Rebekah (Becky) Harwood and Elizabeth (Beth) Harwood. In August 1987 Becky and Beth were abducted from Gilmer, Texas by their non-custodial mother, Catherine A. Walker (aka Lyn Johnson Vande Brake). An ongoing search failed to locate Becky, Beth or Catherine until February 4, 2003, when Rebekah contacted me in upstate New York. On February 6, 2003, both girls came to New York for our reunion. They both now live here in New York.
I originally developed this site in an effort to find my missing daughters. Now that they have been located, the site perhaps will help clarify some of Catherine's calculated lies and begin to write a new chapter in this tragic story of Catherine's and her family's gross selfishness in denying me 15 years of my daughters lives.
